why did you go so fast?

So about two days ago it was Alexander McQueen's show. Speechless really. The clothes were 80% finished at the time of his death, and well, the had to finish the 20% without McQueen. He was really inspired by the Byzantine Empire and the medieval era, at that time he was learning about them. Sixteen outfits, all handcrafted, a designer, one life. Amazing.

He also wrote a letter before he died, search at fashionista, its really something. A lost of talent.

Can he be...

I usually go to my daily blogs everyday just to find some fashion industry news and inspiration, today I went to fashionista.com. The first post is something that everyone have been talking about: Who would replace Alexander McQueen? It states in the article that "Gareth Pugh is the first name to pop-up". He is a truly an amazing designer, but can he really show us Alexander McQueen?

Here you see Gareth Pugh Fall/10 and Alexander McQueen Fall/09. He would be perfect.
Yet, I think the most amazing transformation was Karl Lagerfeld with Chanel. He really did put the brand up and he kept the classic and the charm.

When there is too much fabulous.

Marc, Marc, Marc...you amaze me. If you were one of the people that saw it live at marcjacobs.com you know what I'm talking about! Pastel colours, cosy sweater and classic shapes!

So much inspiration! Long dresses are a must have, and Marc Jacobs really shows us how to use one in fall.
Over all, from seeing all the Spring/Summer Runways I'm really looking forward to a soft colours (baby blues, yellows...) with some boho chic accessories and a jean vest, spring is coming so early this year, the cherry blossom trees are already blooming!
